Signature types

In line with the EU eIDAS regulation, SigningHub offers three types of electronic signatures.

  • Simple electronic signature – A basic signature like a typed name or uploaded image. It is ideal for low-risk documents.
  • Advanced electronic signature – A signature with a higher level of security and signer verification. It uses unique signing keys for each signer and are tamper evident.

How do I create a signature in SigningHub?

Yes, you can. SigningHub is a cloud-based eSignature platform that is compliant with the eIDAS regulation. This means SigningHub-generated signatures are legally recognised in the Poland and other EU member states.

To sign a PDF in SigningHub, you’ll first need to create a SigningHub account. Creating an account is free and only takes a few minutes.

Once you’ve created an account, you’ll be able to sign PDFs by uploading them to SigningHub, entering your signature, and then sending the signed document to the recipient.
